In light of current events, Yoga at the Barn feels a responsibility to temporarily put a hold on in-studio classes. The YATB community is very special, we care a lot about the people who join here to practice together.  We believe deeply in creating connection - to ourselves, our practice and each other more deeply. Moving to virtual teaching at this time feels like the most responsible way to keep this community connected and healthy throughout the coming weeks.

We would like to introduce you to the YATB ONLINE SPACE. An accessible and welcoming platform, allowing students to continue to interact with teachers and each other amidst all that is going on with COVID-19. We may be contained, but let’s ensure, as a community, that we are not isolated! Meeting LIVE four times a week, students can interact via video (if they wish), continuing to share practice together even if it is virtual.  

YATB prides itself in being an in-person community, a place we can come together; see each other, hear each other and practise with each other.  Our YATB ONLINE SPACE is temporary and, while we are sure it will serve us well over the following weeks, we strongly believe the community and connections that are so integral to YATB are best enjoyed at the barn!  We cannot wait to welcome you back into the YATB barn space as soon as we can.

If you book on to one of our LIVE ONLINE classes, you will receive a link via email to join the class. You will also receive directions on how to use ZOOM, which is the platform we will be meeting on for the classes. If you were unable to make the class live online or wish to reflect on or revisit any aspects of the class, a recording of it will be available from 8am the following day for 48 hours.

The Ground We Stand On Live Online

YATB's latest offering for new and experienced students alike.  This simple, accessible yoga practice will allow you to explore the basic standing forms of yoga with new eyes.  For those new to yoga, learn how to prepare for, create and relax after standing postures.  For those more experienced practitioners reconsider and reexperience your standing postures, learn to make them stronger, more stable and more easeful.  Carefully selected yoga practices to take at your own pace.   A perfect place for beginners and a complimentary practice for any asana/vinyasa practitioner.

A recording of this class will be available to those who book for 48 hours after the class. 

What will I need?
An undisturbed place for 1hr 15 mins.
A yoga mat or non-slip surface for movement.
Cushions or chair to sit on if needed.

How much may I pay?

£7 | Pay as You Can | Free drop-in 

or £24 for all four classes.

You will receive a link to your ZOOM class two hours before your class begins.

These sessions are held at the Malthouse Room in Manor Farm, 14 Alms Hill, Bourn, Cambridge CB23 2SH. The Malthouse Room is a small room located at the rear of the large barn on Manor Farm.  When you arrive, follow the road all the way around the large barn, as if going to the Stove Cafe, turn right opposite the cafe into the small courtyard outside the barn.  The Malthouse room is located to the left of this courtyard as you drive in.
